My sales plan for 2012 – get some great sales jobs going
it is a new year and I am in great frame of mind, I have worked in sales for many years within the retail sector and looking to move sectors. In my sales job that I am in, I met all my sales targets, and was even the top sales person for 4 months in the last 12. I met my KPI, exceeded targets and earned the highest level of commission of anyone in the sales department for the last financial year. So when it comes jobs in sales, I know I am ok. That said my sales job is getting a little boring with my current employer and I am looking for a new challenge, so I have started looking at a few sales jobs on some of the job sites on the web. I haven’t really got a great Cv, but I am sure I can blag my way into an interview. Fingers crossed and I will get the new sales job I have been looking for! Thinking about it, may I should put some work into my CV – I have been registered with some of the sales jobs sites for quite a while now and the phone has not been ringing that much. I am surprised as I thought my sales figures speak for themselves. And here I thought finding a job in sales was going to be easy, given that I have been in the sales sector all my 10 working years.

Old Car Selling Tips
If you are thinking of selling your used car then you would obviously want to get the best value of your car. The market for used cars has become very big and people do not hesitate to buy second hand cars now. Now when you have already made your mind to sell used car then you can follow the given tips to sell your car for a good amount.
Get your car serviced
You must get your car serviced to get good value. Any person who would come to see your car would take a test drive and if he is not happy with the performance of the car then he would obviously not pay you what you desire. Anyone who assesses the used car values would consider the condition of the car as the primary factor.
A car that is maintained well has better chances to get more number of customers and more value. If you get more customers then you have the upper hand in the deal. Make sure that your car does not look filthy, the paint must be in good condition, seats should be clean and change the seat covers if possible. You should consider it an investment that will increase the value of your car.
Get registered with a reliable car dealer
If you think that you can sell car on your own then you may be limiting yourself to a certain area. Most of the people who buy second hand cars prefer to buy cars from used car sale. They believe that they can get better options at these used car sales.
There may be a registration fee for getting registered with these dealers but it is worth paying that fee. If you are registered with a car dealer then you can get more number of buyers for your car. Dealers are experts in assessing used car values and they can help you in fixing a reasonable price for your car. The price fixed after assessing used car value will be able to attract buyers because these prices are fixed after complete assessment of your car engine, model, age and technology that is used in your car.
Used Car For Sale
Apart from these things you must get a nice advertisement designed for your car. The advertisement must have all the required details about your car. You should mention the colour, the year of purchase, model number, history, mileage and any special feature, if any. You can post this advertisement in local newspapers or chose some of the popular websites that deal in selling used cars.
You will have to be flexible with the price as some of the buyers may try to bargain. You can keep a margin for this. If you are planning to sell your car urgently then you must mention that in your advertisement. You must a have a good reason for selling your car as a buyer may not be happy to hear that you are selling your car just because you are not happy with its performance.

The rules for either are the same.
Here some more excellent tips on how to buy a guitar, when investigating a guitar for sale, from Dan Cross:
Have patience – do not decide you HAVE to buy the guitar that day. Plan on taking at least two trips to the music store.
Maintain control – You are in charge! Don’t let music store salesmen intimidate you.
Research – The web is a great place to find info on guitars. Use it to your advantage!
Get help – if at all possible, recruit a friend who plays guitar to help you choose an instrument. If not, don’t be afraid to ask music store employees multiple questions.
You do not have to be an expert guitarist to get a good deal on a good guitar at a guitar sale. What you do have to be is a disciplined shopper.
For many guitarists, especially novices, trying out a guitar in a music store can be an intimidating experience. Invariably, there are several other guitarists in the store who feel the need to show off their skills on the instrument, by playing all their most impressive licks. Understandably, this can be scary, but you’ll need to focus on your goal – finding the best instrument possible, for the least money.
Scan the store until you find an instrument that appeals to you. Make sure you are given a good stool, and a pick (although I suggest you bring one you’re comfortable with). If you’re looking at electric guitar sales and playing an electric guitar, make sure you’re plugged into an amp similar to the one you plan to use. If you’ve only got a small practice amp at home, don’t allow the guitar to be plugged into a Marshall half-stack through a rack of pedals.
The first few times I tried out a guitar in a music store, I remember playing very quietly so no one would hear that I wasn’t very good. A perfectly natural instinct, but in retrospect I’ve realized it was the silliest thing I could have done. In order to really hear the tonal qualities of a guitar (either electric or acoustic), it needs to be played at a reasonable volume. Do not be afraid to strum the open strings hard – listening to the guitar’s sustain, and keeping an ear open for problems like buzzing strings. If you’re having a hard time hearing (due to other guitarists in the store, etc.), ask to play the guitar in a separate room, or in a quieter part of the store. It should be noted I’ve been in music stores where owners glared at me for turning up the guitar a little, or strumming an acoustic vigorously. My solution to the problem – I hand them the guitar, say thanks, and take my business to a store that allows me to find out what the guitar sounds like before I buy it. I urge you to do the same… these people are obviously not very familiar with the way guitars work, thus not the best stores to deal with anyway.
Let’s look for a moment at guitar makers and manufacturers and which are at the top of the heap. Probably the 3 most widely known and respected guitar makers are Martin, Gibson and Fender guitars. These manufacturers have been a huge part of the industry for decades and their reputations speak for themselves. Martin guitars however, are slightly different than Gibson guitars or fender guitars in that they don’t make electric guitars, per say but only acoustic and acoustic-electric models. Hopefully, before you start hunting down the guitar sales in your local area you’ll learn these simple steps.
